Painter in the Plateau-Mont-Royal
Spiral staircases, ornate railings, cornices: in the Plateau, details matter.
Facades that call for careful work
The Plateau is known for its outdoor spiral staircases, wrought iron railings and decorative cornices. They give the neighbourhood its character, but they take everything: de-icing salt, freeze and thaw, afternoon sun. Rust often starts as a small spot and spreads quickly if left alone.
On these surfaces, preparation is everything: scraping the rust, anti-rust primer on bare metal, then two coats of exterior metal paint. We work step by step, without cutting corners.
Good to know: in the Plateau, some work that is visible from the street, such as changing the colour of a facade or cornice, may require approval from the borough. Check with the borough before changing colours. We will tell you what to ask when we prepare your quote.
